It has been 5 years since WealthTrust Capital was incorporated. A journey filled with ups and downs, successes and failures, and many team meetings with cups of coffees. But today we can proudly call ourselves a growing wealth management firm striving to create financial independence for its clients. A goal, which is very close to my heart.

HOW I STARTED THE FIRM

Leaving a secured corporate job after 6 years was not easy. But, I always wanted to do something bigger than my daily 9-5 routine—drive financial independence and literacy amongst everyone. So, I finally quit my job and established WealthTrust Capital Service. Coming from a family with business background gave me a good base to start off.

MY TEAM

I started by building an operations team to ensure top-class service, smooth functioning, and client handling. On the way, I hired people from different backgrounds and built a team which has been with us till date like pillars of strength

OBJECTIVE OF THE FIRM

We aimed to increase financial independence and become the leading financial services company by providing best-in-class service with cutting edge technology to clients across India.

HOW THE BUSINESS GREW

We experimented with different models and ways to help our clients. Our biggest achievement has been providing low cost efficient products with exclusive service. Today, we have onboarded 500+ clients and are growing at a speedy rate. We also have a growing business associate program which helps us to tap the retail segment of the business.

FUTURE GOAL

We have recently expanded our physical presence in cities like Kolhapur and Delhi, which is a stepping stone in our growth. We aim to expand this presence pan India, though we do cater to clients via the online channel.

BUSINESS USP

Best-in-class service and product propositions are our USP. We aim to serve our clients in the most efficient way. We ensure that the product portfolios are amended on a regular basis to ensure that our clients’ financial goals are achieved.

GROWTH IS THE ONLY EVIDENCE OF LIFE

Shifting gears from a product background to a CEO was a big change for me. It has made me grow and taught me how to manage the various challenges one faces in running a good business. As a firm, we dealt with many hiccups from product offerings to back-end systems to regulatory amendments, but we quickly learnt and adapted to ensure smooth services.
